KC Elite Tryouts - HS/JV Girls
The Kansas City Team Elite Basketball is hosting spring tryouts beginning this month!
We are a northland based girl’s competitive basketball program that participates in the Kansas City and the surrounding metro area. Please contact us if you have any questions or are unable to make your try out date.
High School Girls JV Level
We hope to have enough players to fill two teams of 8 to 10 players each. This will give everyone a chance to see what we do and make it easier for you to decide if you would like to join our team. We will start practicing the first week of March and will treat the first couple of practice as the “tryouts”.
Practices will be Wednesday evenings, 7:30pm to 9:30 pm at Lewis and Clark Elementary school in Liberty the first two Wednesday of March. The week of March 18th is spring break in Liberty so we will not practice that week since the gyms will not be available. Starting the week of March 25th through the end of the school year, we will practice Monday and Wednesdays, 7pm to 9pm at Shoal Creek Elem School in Liberty. For the summer, I am going to try to get Mondays and Thursdays for practice.
We plan to play 2 tournaments per month from April through July and then one tournament in March and one in August. We can play additional tournaments if everyone wants to play more. 2 or 3 of those will be out of town. I will be getting together a list of the out of town tournament so everyone can choose which will work out for them and then we will make the choices from that list.
I can’t give you a definite cost yet until we decide on the out of town tournaments. The total cost is currently an estimate depending on girls etc. but it can be payable in 3 installments. This includes the practice gym time, uniforms and 10 tournaments. Officially our season will run from the first week of March through the first week of August. If the girls want to keep playing after that until school ball starts, we can do that on a pay as we go basis. I would recommend that everyone take a month or so off though before school ball to let the bodies heal and get ready for school ball.

Hope to see you March 6th or March 10th! Email me if you have questions. Since we will be playing in the JV level for the most part anyway, the birthday cut off would be Sept 1st, 1995. So if the birth date is on Sept 1st, 1995 or after, they would still be able to play in the JV level.
