Agape Hoops Special Events:
Every month Agape Hoops has designated “special” tournaments that have extra features for teams and fans. These special events range from an expanded USSSA State Tournament format to a Championship series, to Championship games played at the College Basketball Experience in downtown Kansas City.
USSSA State Tournaments:
We are hosting two USSSA State Tournaments in 2014 one for Kansas and one for Missouri. The culmination of those events will be the USSSA Midwest State Tournament which has traditionally drawn more than 200 teams.
- USSSA MO State Jan. 31-Feb. 2nd
- USSSA KS State Feb. 7th-9th
- USSSA Midwest State Feb. 21st-23rd & Feb. 28th-March 2nd
Championship Series:
We are expanding our tournament series that is comprised of tournaments labeled as qualifiers. The winter qualifiers are linked to the Winter Championship Series Finale and the spring/summer qualifiers are linked to the Midwest Summer Regional Championship. Placing 1st or 2ndin the qualifiers will award a team either a free tournament entry or a discounted tournament entry. Other teams that participate in the qualifiers but do not place 1st or 2nd can still play in the Championships.

• Heat’n up the Hardwood 6/13
Qualifier Benefits for Championship Series Finales:
• 1st place teams in qualifiers win FREE entry
• 2nd place teams $30 registration discount
Other Special Events through Spring 2014:
Some of these special events include championship games played at the College Basketball Experience, or donation drives that are tied to special exhibition games or privileges with Agape Hoops partners.
