Rising Star Showcase Events

Rising Star Showcase participants will have the opportunity to showcase their basketball skills on center court at Kansas City’s premiere basketball event venue, the College Basketball Experience. Participants will also have full access to all that the CBE has to offer for the basketball enthusiast. The CBE is a high-energy, highly-interactive venue where casual and hard core fans of any age can totally immerse themselves in the game of college basketball.

Rising Star Showcase Format

Registered players will be placed on teams made up of other players within their grade level. Each grade will have a maximum of 20 players that will make up two teams to play a showcase game on Center Court at Kansas City’s premiere basketball event venue, the College Basketball Experience. Showcase games will feature player introductions along with a PA announcer calling the games. Showcase games will consist of two (2) twenty (20) minute halves with a running clock.

Rising Star Showcase Venue

Located at the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City the 41,500 square foot facility features the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. In the Hall of Fame, visitors learn about the great players and coaches who have made significant contributions to men’s collegiate basketball. Visitors will rediscover seminal moments in college basketball history and learn the special role that Kansas City has played in the sport. Hands-on, high-energy exhibits throughout the facility place visitors in electrifying game-like situations, from sinking the game-winning shot to announcing the play-by-play action from the ESPNU broadcast desk.

Rising Star Showcase Registration / Player Package

The Rising Star Showcase registration cost is $45 per player.

Each registered player will receive the following Rising Star Showcase Player Package:

* Official Rising Star Showcase Reversible Jersey ($20 Value)
* $10 Gift Certificate from Dick’s Sporting Goods ($10 Value)
* Participation in the Rising Star Showcase Game on Center Court at the CBE (Priceless Memory)
* Admission to the CBE on the date of the Showcase Game. This includes full access to the facility before and after the game. ($12 Value)
